Data sources

License data: Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation

Company listings and license details come from TDLR's public mold license data files (Mold Remediation Companies and Mold Assessment Companies), checked on October 16, 2026. We keep only current licenses and publish the company name, city, ZIP code, county, license number, type, status and expiration date. Street addresses and phone numbers in those files are not published. Confirm any license in theTDLR license search.

Geography: U.S. Census Bureau

County and city pages, their reference points and populations, ZIP code points and county adjacency come from U.S. Census Bureau files: the 2024 Gazetteer (counties, places, ZIP Code Tabulation Areas), the 2020 ZCTA-to-county relationship file, 2020 Census redistricting (PL 94-171) data and the 2024 county adjacency file. City pages cover every incorporated place in Texas plus census-designated places with 10,000 or more residents.

Maps

Maps use OpenFreeMap tiles built from OpenStreetMapdata © OpenStreetMap contributors, and the MapLibre GL library. Pins mark a city-level point, never a street address.
